The guards continue to chat as Vel walks up behind one and taps them on the shoulder. The guard turns and no one is there and then looks back to see the guard, that was originally Miraak, gone from his spot and Vel was sitting in his place. He seems surprised that a simple man could make the guard disappear and draws his weapon. The guard says to Vel in a demanding voice to come with him so he could pay for his crimes, not even knowing if his fellow guard was dead or alive. He stands up and turns his head as he uses his quick reflexes and unsheathes his blade and swings at the guard's head, only to block just in time. He smirks at the guard and breaks the block and swings his foot and kicks him in the head.
The guard falls backwards and begins to roll down the hill. It looked like a sure win for Vel until the guard stopped at the bottom and disappeared. He looked in every direction to see where the guard went and felt a force behind him push him forward. Vel gets thrown in the air and lands a small distance away. The guard that Vel had taken care of was just the simple guard and who he was dealing with was Miraak. He keeps his ground on the hill until he catches eye of Vel coming from his left with a spin attack and blocked, but missed and his back was slashed. He fell on his knees and yelled at Vel, blowing him to pieces. The hill was finally his again...or was it? Miraak could hear Vel's laughter in his head and felt something dripping from his forehead. He feels and pulls his hand away to find blood. A pain was felt and it was agonizing that he took a dagger and stabbed his head, killing the two of them. Of course this is not how the story goes because someone has to be alive. Vel walks back up the hill to find his opponent dead and kicked him down the hill. "This is my hill, not yours." He sits in a chair that mysteriously appears and awaits the next one to take his hill.
